Got a call today, 15/01/19 at about 12:49pm, and it was obvious it was a scam. An automated voice was saying my internet would be cut off within a day, and it said to press 1 to speak to BT. Thing is, I’m not with BT at all! Just a heads up, this is definitely a dodgy call. I’m going to report the number to OFCOM. Stay careful out there!

Got a recorded call at 12:05 about my BT landline being about to get disconnected - what a load of rubbish! Just another scammer trying it on.

I got a weird automated call saying it was from BT, warning me our internet would be disconnected in a day because of some fraud on the account. Being a bit daft, I pressed 1 while I was juggling another call on my mobile. Then, a man with a foreign accent came on and asked for info about the computers we had. I said I'd check things out first before sharing anything since it sounded suspicious and then I ended the call.

Got a call this morning at 11.04 from some voice pretending to be Ofcom saying my internet was going to be shut down. Sounded just like the ones I got a few days back from people saying they were from BT. Total nonsense, didn’t bother sticking around to hear more.

I got a call from this number around 10.46 today. Since I didn’t recognise it, I chose not to pick up. After seeing what others have said about it, I’m relieved I let it ring out. I’m definitely going to report this dodgy call to both Ofcom and the TPS.

Got two calls back to back from an automated voice saying it was OFCOM, warning me that my internet would be cut off because of some hacking linked to my number. I just ended the call right away, then looked up the number and stumbled on this website.

Just a short while ago, I got a call from a recorded message saying it was BT. It told me my internet would be cut off within a day because they supposedly spotted hacking on my account. They wanted me to press '1' to talk to an adviser. Well, I’m not that gullible, so I ended the call and checked the caller number by dialling 1471. Sure enough, it was 02039365587. I then looked up the number online and stumbled upon this site. It’s definitely a CON! Absolutely no way I’m pressing ‘1,’ and I’d warn others to stay clear too.

As soon as I answered, I noticed there was no background noise at all, which usually means it’s some kind of automated scam call. I didn’t even bother waiting for someone to speak and just ended the call straight away. Another dodgy number got added to my BT call block list.
