Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC threatening arrest if I didn't press 1. Thought I'd play along and pressed it. I asked when they planned to come arrest me and the bloke said he’d be over soon, asking when I’d be ready so he could f**k. I just burst out laughing, and then he called me some awful names before hanging up. Absolutely ridiculous!

Like I said before, this scam is rubbish. Got a robotic call from HMRC saying I was involved in tax fraud and if I didn’t hit 1 right away I’d be arrested soon. Still waiting for the cops to turn up, not losing any sleep though. Just blocked the number.

absolute scammers, i ended up blocking them! they tried saying i could join some syndicate to play the national lottery weekly without paying a penny! asked for my bank info and other personal stuff, claiming it was to "send my winnings". i declined and was polite, but they got quite rude and made me feel silly for being cautious. when i requested their official company website to check things out, they just cut the call immediately.
