Been called by this number twice today, the second time was around 2:57 pm. They had the same recorded message, pretending to be from HMRC, warning me that if I didn’t call back they’d send my case to the local magistrates court. I don’t have any tax problems at all, so it’s obviously a scam trying to phish info. The number is 02039364333.

The message was clearly pre-recorded and honestly, it’s obvious it’s a scam. What’s worse is thinking about how many elderly folks might fall for it - proper nasty stuff. They really should stop and find a real job instead of tricking people out of their cash.

No response at all, the person ended the call after just half a minute.

Got a voicemail from this number around 9.30 in the morning on the 6th of April, 2021. The message claimed to be from the tax office, saying I was about to be taken to court unless I rang back. I ignored it straight away since I’ve got nothing owing to the revenue or any fines to deal with. Definitely seemed like one of those phishing scams.

On the 6th of April, 2021, around 10:20 in the morning, I got a call with a robotic voice claiming it was from the Inland Revenue. They said I had to ring them back or else I'd be taken to court. I don’t owe any fines or anything, so it’s obvious this was some kind of scam call trying to trick me.
