Got a call from 020 3936 3563 today. Just like what a lot of people have said, they said I’d made it to the second stage to win an iPad. They had my email and postcode but got my house number wrong! When I said I wasn’t comfortable giving out info on the phone, the lady just hung up on me! Seems dodgy to me, so I’d recommend blocking the number or just don’t say anything important if they ring.

Somebody rang me and already had my email and home address, telling me I'd made it to the next round of a contest to win an iPad that I supposedly signed up for online. They then started pushing me to accept free quotes and deals on loads of services, which I said no to. Afterwards, they wanted my date of birth to verify my spot in the final stage, but I refused and hung up straight away. Really odd call, felt like a scam to grab personal details. Definitely wouldn’t trust it!

Got a call from someone saying they were with 3, and they already had my name, address and email. When I asked where they got it from, all they said was it was from something I’d put online ages ago. Their pitch was about selling discounted mobile phones, but what annoyed me was I could hear another call happening while they were talking to me.
