5 yearsThis has got to be a scam. My 12-year-old lad got a couple of texts claiming he was due a tax rebate, then a voicemail popped up threatening arrest if he didn’t phone ‘Officer Denis Gray’ or contact a solicitor. It really frightened him. I rang the number myself, but as soon as I asked for Denis Gray, they just hung up. Tried again, and now the phone just rings once before a recorded message says they can’t take the call and ends with goodbye! Proper dodgy if you ask me.Denis Gray5 yearsI got a scary voicemail from someone called Dennis Gray claiming to be from HMRC, saying I had to ring them back straight away or I'd get arrested. When I tried calling the number back, it just said my call couldn't be completed right now and to try again later. I've had similar calls before from very dodgy numbers. Usually, if you do manage to speak to someone and start asking questions about the call, they just end up hanging up on you.Dennis GrayHMRC5 yearsI tried calling back after they hung up, but it turns out that number wasn’t even real!5 yearsGot three calls from this number, each time someone was nagging me to contact Dennis Gray.
