Got a call from someone who claimed they were from a gas and electric savings firm. The lady on the phone sounded Asian. Honestly, I’m fed up with these cold callers. They seem to grab all your info from sites where you shop online and give your details away. Then supposedly trustworthy companies turn around and profit by passing your info to others. This really ought to be against the law.

Got a phone call on my mobile from a young guy with an Indian accent, sounded like he was working in some call centre. He knew my name and said he wanted to discuss the gas and electric at my place. I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call straight away. It was definitely a cold call, but what really creeps me out is how they managed to get both my number and my name. I’m going to block the number, but honestly, I’m worried who else might have been given my info.
