It seems like they ring but then immediately hang up, though if you linger on the line, a woman eventually speaks up, asserting she’s calling from Scottish Power. I’ve had three chats with her now, and I can’t help but feel it’s the same person each time. I've made it clear that I want these calls to stop and mentioned that my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Honestly, I have my suspicions that these calls are originating from abroad.
