Someone rang me pretending to be from the tax office, saying there was a tax fraud case linked to me. They told me to press 1 to speak to the case officer, warning that if I didn’t, they'd be coming to arrest me soon. The voice on the line was really robotic, like it was some sort of automated system.

I got a call from a London number this morning, some bloke trying to get me to put money into Bitcoin. He was pushing for £250, but I thought I’d mess about with him a bit. I told him if I was gonna put anything in, it’d be at least £20,000, so don’t bother me with small amounts. He went all polite, saying “yes sir” and that nonsense for ages. After about half an hour of that, I was well fed up, so I just told him I’d rather invest in toffee apples and hung up. Waste of time!

got a call from some bloke pushing me to put money into cryptocurrency. wasnt expecting it, bit annoying really. just wanted to say no and hang up.

these bitcoin trader lot just dont take a hint, kept ringing despite me telling them to stop, even after I shouted at them. no joke, got 6 calls on 27th march and then 8 more the next day! they seriously dont know when to quit. just blocked the number now.
