I received a call from a chap named David, who had quite a pronounced Indian accent. He was eager to jog my memory regarding a PPI discussion we'd had half a year prior. I must admit, I rather bluntly suggested he should take a long walk off a short pier!

I got a call from Sharon on 0203 868 7597 saying my claim was approved. She told me a driver would arrive with a package between 5 and 6, and I was meant to check it over. Then she said I’d need to pay £375. She asked if I was happy with that and I said yes, then she said someone else would ring me. After, a David Thomas phoned and repeated everything, saying I had to pay £375 using ITUNE Gift Cards. He asked how long it would take me to get the cards and told me to ring back once I had them. Sounded dodgy with the gift cards but I couldn’t quite place the scam I’d heard about.

I picked up and actually talked to someone! I told them I’d been in a nasty crash and would need months of medical care. After loads of questions, they eventually asked what kind of injury I had. I told them I’d been decapitated and they stitched my head back on, but sadly it was on the wrong way. Oddly enough, they hung up straight after. If more people mess with them like this, maybe they’ll get bored and stop calling.

This morning at 9:32, a lady rang me asking to confirm if I'd been involved in an accident that wasn't my fault. I told her I wouldn't say anything till she explained where she got that info from. She claimed it was "from the RTA department." I just ended the call there and have blocked the number since I've had similar calls before. Also, I've installed the TPS Protect app and put my number on the TPS list now.
