I received a call from a particular number, but didn’t answer it. Shortly after, a voicemail popped up from another number I hadn’t seen before. In the message, a bloke named Alex mentioned something about Goodlord and vaguely referred to a new rental property. Honestly, I don't have a clue about what Goodlord actually is, and I certainly am not looking for any rental properties at the moment!

Received a call from someone claiming to be from a reputable company, chatting about insurance for my rented property. To be honest, I’m rather sceptical. They weren’t overly insistent, yet the whole thing felt a bit dodgy, if you ask me. Not sure whether it’s genuine or just another ploy to extract some cash.

So, I didn't pick up the phone, but they left a voicemail claiming to be from Goodlord, the letting agency-definitely had a bit of an accent that sounded foreign. Curiously, I've just dealt with someone masquerading as Virgin Media right after finishing my application with Goodlord yesterday, which makes me suspicious about this call being legit. To top it off, I received another call from a mobile number connected to the one that buzzed me yesterday, and it turned out to be a total scam. Feels like there’s dodgy stuff going on!
