Somebody rang claiming to be from the "Heat Loss Team". The woman’s voice sounded a bit strange. I asked if they were genuine and they said yes but mentioned they use pre-recorded messages because it’s easier. I told them they sounded like scammers. The automated lady just said "Have a good day. Goodbye" and hung up.

There was a bit of a lag before someone answered, and I overheard a woman say my surname quietly to someone else nearby - maybe they’re training new staff? Then she asked to talk to the “homeowner”. They go by the name Home Options, but really they’re just trying to sell stuff or get you to hand over cash. At first, they said they were Homestyle Windows. Even though I’m on the TPS, it doesn't seem to bother ’em a bit. Your best bet after that is to report them to the ICO and OFCOM. If enough folks raise a fuss about this number, maybe those organisations will step in. They also ring from numbers like 02036972899 and 02039363645.
