02039361877 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02039361877 👆 is reported as a persistent scam originating from London numbers, frequently using automated female or male voices claiming to be from HMRC. Callers allege legal action, tax fraud investigations, and that your home is under surveillance, urging immediate callback to avoid arrest or prosecution. They may use threatening language and attempt to extract personal and financial information. Genuine HMRC never operate this way, always communicating official matters by letter, not frightening automated calls. Many victims note that these calls are upsetting, particularly to vulnerable individuals, and that calling back often results in hostile or evasive responses. It is strongly advised not to engage or provide any details, but instead report these calls to HMRC, the police, and relevant telecom authorities, and block the numbers to protect yourself.

Some folks say they’re from HMRC and start with that old line about “a warrant for your arrest” - don’t buy it! HMRC would never ring you up threatening arrest and asking for payment on the phone. Just end the call and make sure to report the number to HMRC straight away.

Trust me, these lot quickly hung up when I said I wanted to meet in person to sort out this so-called HMRC issue and threat of court. “Reginald Smith” - if that’s the most proper British name you could think of on the fly, you seriously should rethink your scam tactics, mate! Maybe one day you’ll find yourself dealing with more than just some bloke behind a keyboard.

Just had a call like this too, something about me being the main suspect in a case and my home being watched. Kinda freaked me out at first but surely if it was real, they’d contact me through the proper channels, not some dodgy phone call.

TOTALLY A FRAUD - They called looking for me, I gave a fake name and they lost interest straight away. I then phoned back the person they were trying to reach and asked them to verify my address after they claimed they’re taking me to court and watching my home. Got a call saying they were from HMRC and my house was being watched. I rang back and some bloke with an American accent answered. I told him he couldn’t be HMRC if he was American. He insisted they were. So I asked where abouts in London he was. He made this annoyed noise and hung up. I’ve blocked the number now. Why on earth would someone do this? I rang the number back and some bloke said he was from HMRC, but I didn’t buy it cause they wouldn’t ring from an 0203 number. Then he asked for my name and address to "trace" me, but I said no thanks, I’m sure they’ll ring again. He asked “who will?” and I said “the person who just called me.” Then he yelled down the phone, “ARE YOU DUMB b******?” which was really upsetting, especially as I was in a taxi heading home from work feeling all shook and anxious.

This government, like loads of others, is so out of touch with reality that they don’t realise how simple it is for bad folks to rake in cash through these scams to back up criminal stuff and terrorism. Instead of recognising the serious risk of where that money might end up, tracking those behind it, and slapping them with heavy penalties to put others off doing the same, the police and government just brush it off. They think it’s just some minor con artists nicking a bit of cash off gullible people and don’t take it seriously enough.

This number rang me and left voicemails claiming my home was being watched or something like that. Got a voicemail about some legal stuff supposedly from HMRC, but there was no proper explanation or details. I know for a fact they wouldn't just ring up and leave a vague message like that. My records with them are spotless anyway, so I’m sure it’s just another dodgy scam trying to freak people out.

Got a call from 020 3936 1877, some robotic woman talking all creepy about watching my house. I knew right away it had to be a scam, but honestly it’s the most unsettling one I’ve come across. Bet loads of folks would freak out and ring back. Definitely planning to report it.

Got a call from someone pretending they’d take me to court if I didn’t pay up. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a voicemail the other day from some woman talkin' about HMRC watching me and some investigation or whatever. It asked me to ring a certain number. I called it back before even listening to the message and some bloke picked up pretending to be from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, then just dropped the call once he heard me speak. This has got scam written all over it. Seriously, this is the dodgiest one I’ve come across and definitely needs reporting!

I received a rather dodgy phone call claiming that I was the prime suspect in some investigation and that my home was apparently being monitored. It felt like a scam designed to coax me into ringing them back. I've since blocked the number!

I nearly got taken in by this call but it all fell apart when the bloke started threatening me with an arrest warrant unless I paid some tax debt straight away. He said the police would be knocking on my door soon, and that’s when I realised it was a load of rubbish. Reported the whole thing to both the police and the tax office. I can see how anyone might get duped by this, so fingers crossed folks check this site before ringing back. Honestly, why BT hasn’t blocked these annoying numbers is beyond me!

Got a call from them earlier today, and it was the same old story. Some robot claiming to be from HMRC saying my house was being watched or something crazy like that. Honestly, it was so absurd I couldn't help but laugh. Don’t fall for this scam, it’s so obvious. I've blocked the number on my phone already.

This call was super intimidating and clearly just a scam. Honestly, these folks deserve to be put behind bars. It’s beyond me why the government hasn’t done more to keep us safe from this kind of thing. Their inaction is putting everyone at risk!
