Loads of calls from London with numbers beginning 3936 keep popping up on my phone. I’m pretty sure it’s a call centre or something. I just don’t pick up if I don’t recognise the number.

At first she said she wasn’t selling anything, which seemed odd. Then she asked if I read a newspaper, so it was clearly some kind of survey. I just told her no thanks and ended the call.

Most likely just some dodgy scammers blasting out tons of fake calls hoping someone naive answers. There's never anyone on the other end and no voicemail left. Just that typical weird silent automated call. Best to just block it. If it was anything urgent, they’d just send a text, email, or letter instead.
