I keep getting these calls with a recorded message pretending to be from a 'local energy advisor'. They sound like they’re live but are obviously not. This number has rung me a few times and sounds just like those places that grab a bunch of numbers in bulk. Every time it goes straight to voicemail, no message left or anything, so I’m guessing it’s dodgy based on that. It’s been looked up nearly 5,000 times! If it’s some kind of scam, how come it’s been active for like five years now? Most folks just ignore it, but given the times they call, feels like they’re aiming at older people. Honestly, there’s few things more vile than targeting the elderly like that.

Got a call from this number today around 5:25pm, left me a voicemail but it was just silence. Figured it was probably some kind of scam or spam, and reading through the comments here seems like I was spot on. Definitely dodgy!

Got a call from this number claiming to be from Refresh Windows and Doors. They were pushing a deal on half price double glazing for any windows older than 10 years. Usually I wouldn't buy anything from random cold calls but I told them our windows are all new (which they actually are) and the bloke just said thanks and ended the call. Bit of a letdown really, I was hoping it was the energy advisors ringing back - I always find their calls a bit entertaining.

020 3936 1243 - definitely a property scam. Seems like they're using loads of numbers but staying within the same London area code. I’ve already blocked it and reported it, best to do the same to avoid any hassle.

Got three calls in just a couple of hours. Each time I picked up, there was nothing said and if it went to voicemail, no message was left. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Had a bloke named Chris ring me up about some energy savings nonsense. I was pretty sure it was a load of rubbish, so I gave him a piece of my mind with a few choice words and then just ended the call. How on earth do these muppets sleep at night?

I've been getting calls from this number, and a few similar ones that only differ by the last digit. The person on the line sounded Indian and was trying to get info about my electricity company, supposedly to offer a cheaper rate! Definitely felt like a scam to me.
