Got a call from some robotic voice claiming to be Officer Grey. Total scam, definitely don’t bother calling them back.

I've had a rather distressing experience with this number. They’ve made some alarming threats towards my wife, claiming that she could face legal action and that the police would be arriving shortly to arrest her over accusations of fraud. It’s all quite concerning, to say the least.

Got a strange voicemail from someone saying they were from HMRC, sounded totally robotic. They told me to call back or else I'd supposedly get into legal trouble. Obviously, I didn’t bother calling them. I've just blocked the number now.

I decided to return the call, and straight away I noticed the ringing tone wasn't the usual one you'd expect here in the UK. When someone finally picked up, they asserted they were from HMRC. I promptly ended the call, recognising that this number didn’t match any legitimate HMRC contact.

I got a rather peculiar voicemail from that number on my mobile earlier. The synthetic voice claimed to be representing HMRC and warned me not to disregard the message or I would face some sort of legal repercussions-quite odd, I must say. I attempted to ring the number back, but the response was something along the lines of, "We are currently unavailable, please try again later." It all strikes me as a bit dodgy, if you ask me.
