Got a call from some global investments place trying to get me to speak to an advisor. They said I just had to pay $280 upfront and promised it was refundable, but I wasn’t buying it at all. When I asked how they got my number, they said I’d signed up with them, which I haven’t. Hung up straight away. They’ve rung me about 5 or 6 times since, and the guy talking sounded like he was American.

I keep getting calls from this company called Global Investments, they say they’ll connect me to an advisor if I pay $280 upfront, saying the money is refundable, but I doubt that. When I asked how they got my number, they said I registered with them, which I definitely never did. So, I just ended the call. They’ve rung me about 5 or 6 times now, and the person on the other end has an American accent.
