I found a call from this number really dodgy, claiming to be from a popular online/mail order company I’d just bought stuff from. As soon as they asked me to sign up for some car service plan and wanted my email (which they should already have), I ended the call. What creeped me out was that they actually mentioned the exact things I’d ordered right off the bat. After looking into it, this had nothing to do with the real company at all.

I’ve ordered from Easylife loads before with no issues, but this time I got a call checking if I’d bought a thermal jacket. I’d just got an outside tap jacket the day before. When I asked why she was calling, the person wasn’t much help and just ended the call on me.

I rang Easy Life back on their official number from their site, and they confirmed they do have a car club, but seemed pretty chilled about everyone thinking it’s dodgy.

Just noticed a missed call from this number after ordering something from Easy Life recently. What’s really concerning is that this magazine is aimed at older people who might easily get caught up in this scam. I reckon we should report this to Trading Standards or the ICO if they're misusing our info. It’s quite troubling that they appear to be going after the more vulnerable like this.

Got a call from 0203 9318280 but no message left. Since I recently ordered something from Easy Life, I'll probably just ignore whatever they're after like lots of others seem to do. If stuff I've bought turns out faulty, I'll reach out then, but otherwise looks like I’ll just accept the loss. Calling this "dangerous" feels about right, given there’s no real proof to back them up.

I received a phone call from this number on 27th October, shortly after I placed an order with Easylife. The caller seemed to have my name and details of my purchase, which was quite concerning. He went on about a £10 fuel voucher and some savings related to my car. I made it clear that I wasn't interested, yet he insisted he would still send the voucher and further information, assuring me there was no obligation. To my dismay, I later discovered that they had taken £1.99 and then a hefty £59.99 from my credit card. It’s clear they must be associated with the Easylife catalogue in some way. Honestly, this kind of practice should be outlawed!

Received a call from this number earlier, claiming they were offering a £10 fuel voucher. They insisted I needed to provide my bank account details for postage, but I firmly reiterated that I don’t share my banking information over the phone. Eventually, they hung up after my constant refusals. Quite suspicious, to say the least!

I've been getting a fair few calls from this number that I've chosen to ignore. I did place an order with Easylife and received my items, but there's been a rather unsettling twist. I also got an email that claimed to be from Easylife, asserting I had been wrongly charged for delivery and requesting my card info for a reimbursement. Naturally, I’ve given that email a wide berth. I got a call saying it was from Easylife. They wanted me to confirm something I supposedly ordered. Surely they should already have that info without needing me to say! They tried to pitch me a free trial for 2 books and a third as part of some book club thing. I turned it down. My phone showed the call as spam. I've reached out to the company asking if they're sharing our info right after we order, cause if not, how else do these scammers get hold of people’s details so quickly? I ordered from Easylife Catalogue, thinking the name might be a bit of a joke. The Easylife Group are an absolute disaster - terrible customer service and now they keep ringing me non-stop even after purchase. It’s been three weeks and still no sign of my order, no refund either, and all the emails I’ve sent have been ignored. What’s worse is that they mostly target elderly people, which is just shocking. I wouldn’t trust them with my parents, and I’m definitely warning everyone I know to steer well clear of this lot.

This number rang me twice, so I got in touch with my phone provider to check it out. Turns out, there were earlier records showing orders made with Easylife under this number. I've actually bought and received a couple of things from them before. Then I got an email from them about a refund for some extra charge. They asked for my card info again, but I never got any confirmation code. I called Easylife directly and they told me it was probably a scam. I ended up cancelling my credit card just to be safe.
