Somebody phoned me asking if I was pleased with how an accident claim turned out. I told them the insurer had paid up, but I hadn’t yet got my excess refunded. They said they’d check on that for me! The number they called from was 02039317994, but I haven’t a clue who it was. Tried calling back using 141 before the number, but it just kept being engaged every time I tried.

Got a call earlier today from a guy who already knew everything about a car accident I was in a few months ago. He told me he was ringing from Nationwide Solicitors about getting me compensation, saying it was no win, no fee and I didn’t have to commit to anything. I didn’t share any new info, just stuck to what he already seemed to have. He said he’d ring back to discuss things further but I never heard from him again.

I received a call from a company claiming to have my details linked to an accident claim. However, upon picking up, they proceeded to inquire about someone else entirely-the individual responsible for the collision with my vehicle last year. Interestingly, they mentioned they were associated with Nationwide. Quite the mix-up!
