It feels as though they’re aware of when contracts are nearing their end. Quite persuasive, so best to tread carefully!

Was called by an energy broker who said they could sort out a better deal for our electricity by finding a new supplier. Apparently, they got my info from a list of British Gas customers whose contracts are ending soon. I wasn’t interested at all and told them to take me off their calling list. Yet, they kept ringing again and again, so in the end I just blocked the number.

Such a nuisance! They rang my mobile initially but just dropped the call as soon as I picked up. Then, moments after, they called my landline and did the exact same thing - ended the call right away.
