Got a call from some scammer and they just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone who quickly asked if I was the 02 mobile account owner. I just said, ‘what was that?’ and then they just cut off the call.

From what I’ve gathered in this thread, those cold callers claim to be from different telecom companies. It really feels like they’re using dodgy sales tricks, so I wouldn’t put any faith in them at all.

He never actually said which company he worked for, just mentioned it was about my O2 account. It’s not exactly a scam, more like someone being a bit sneaky pretending they’re O2 when really they’re pushing another firm’s products.
