So I got a call claiming to be from the HRMC, saying if I didn’t pick up a warrant for fraud would be put out against me. Pretty freaky stuff, honestly. I spoke to some bloke who kept asking for my name and address. When I pressed him on why he should need that if he’s really from HRMC, he just shouted out a random name and told me to look it up on Google. I just ended the call straight away after that.

The caller claimed to be from EFD energy (pretty sure they meant "EDF"), called me Mr even though I’m a woman, and weirdly used my middle name instead of my first, which I have registered with EDF. They’ve rung me nearly every day, and the first few times, they didn’t even say anything when I picked up. I’d say best just block the number or ignore the calls.
