Got a call from someone named "Eric" pretending to be with O2. I was driving and on handsfree but wasn’t in the mood for a chat. He mentioned he’d ring back the following day, and sure enough, he did. He started telling me I was eligible for a 5G upgrade from 4G. I cut him off, telling him if he was legit, he should know my account number and asked him to provide it. I also informed him my phone flagged his number as a potential scam. After that, he just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, but it was clearly a scam. They tried to trick me by sending a code and asking me to say it out loud, probably hoping to hack my account. Don’t share any details with them and just put them on mute or block the number straight away.
