If you pick up one of these calls, be ready for them to keep ringing you non stop. They’re seriously pushy and aggressive. I got a call supposedly about checking up on my government pension, but really they just wanted to steal my private info. The worst bit was how they bombarded me afterwards with endless calls from all kinds of different numbers. At one point they even said they were sending someone round to my place today! Proper nightmare.
