Got a call on Monday and decided to go ahead with the policy. Just got the paperwork through today. Everything looks good for me and my hubby.

Got a call from an 020 code, not actually London, but they were offering something that seemed alright. I didn’t go for it since I’ve already got a nearly identical policy in place.

I got a call from this number and the guy asked if I was Mr B. I told him no, I'm a woman, and asked who's on the line. Then he said my husband's name, but when I asked again who it was, he just stayed quiet. So I ended the call. A bit later, the same number rang again but we didn’t pick up. After seeing other people's comments, I reckon this number is sketchy and probably best avoided.

Got a call from this number, a lovely young woman named Krissy. She went through a complete warranty check on my appliances. Turns out I was being charged almost £100 extra, but they managed to sort it out and give me a better deal.

Got a call that sounded like it was coming straight outta some call centre in India. A lady on the line was saying that our electrical equipment insurance was up for renewal. Thing is, we don’t have any insurance on that kind of stuff at all, so it was obviously just a scam. The line quality was pretty awful. My missus ended up chatting with her for like five minutes until I stepped in and told her straight up that there’s no policy with us. The woman then said sorry and just ended the call.

Got a call from an 020 number yesterday and they told me about a better deal than my current insurance. Was a bit sceptical but Xtreme convinced me so I went ahead and sorted out the payment right then and there. To my surprise, the policy documents showed up today. Cheers!

Today, we got a ring from someone offering a cheaper rate on our appliance insurance. I didn’t expect it at all and felt a bit surprised. Turns out, the discount they gave me is better than what I was paying before, so that’s great. They emailed the policy papers almost immediately, which was handy.

The call came off a bit pushy, but the lady definitely seemed to be well informed. Even though I didn’t go for the policy since I’ve just got new appliances, it sounded like a pretty decent deal to me. Overall, I thought it was alright.

Loads of folks are calling it a scam, but I actually signed up for a plan with Home Protection. They promised to offer me a better deal than what I was paying before, and they really delivered. So honestly, I’m not sure why people are saying it’s dodgy.

Today, my elderly mum got a call from a woman named Chrisso who claimed she was offering a deal on appliance insurance - three years for the price of two at £90. The lady kept pushing for the credit card info, and my mum, a bit confused by the insistence, ended up sharing the card number and expiry date. Luckily, she didn’t give out the CVV code after being asked. Mum never had this kind of insurance before anyway. The number they left was 02029254710 if anyone wants to watch out for it.

My partner got a call today from someone named "Samantha" on 02039254710, claiming I’d signed up for an insurance policy two years ago for £129. She offered a discount down to £90, which nearly had him sold. Now, I might be a bit on the older side and blonde, but I knew straight away it was dodgy as I’ve never taken out any policy like that. She then tried to get my card details, and when my other half said no, she tried asking for his instead! The audacity! I’m bracing myself for the next call so I can give her a proper earful.

Got a call from Extreme Home Protection on 02039180643 about renewing my policy, with a quick discount if I signed up straight away. I hadn’t heard from them before, so I asked for info about my so-called current policy and then suddenly the call just cut off! Watch out for loads of scams like this going around. Ever since I got Sky Shield installed, the number of these annoying calls has dropped loads. Really impressed with that system. G W-J.

Got a call from a woman asking to verify my card number for some sort of cover. When I asked her to say the card number she supposedly had, she suddenly claimed she couldn’t share it on the phone for security reasons. But funny enough, she wanted me to just rattle mine off to her. Total red flags right there. Definitely a scam, scam, scam.

Got a call from some woman named Crystal, said she was from some insurance company, trying to sell us a cheaper policy. She was pushing hard for my mum’s card info, but thank god I’ve made it clear to her never to share that kind of stuff on the phone. She reckons she’ll ring again on Monday, but if she tries to get those details from us, she’s definitely got me to answer to. Total scam, no doubt about it.

My elderly dad in Belfast got a phone call from 02039254708, and despite being told countless times not to share his card info, he ended up giving it out. He was so shaken afterwards, really upset and frustrated with himself. Thankfully he contacted his bank straight away, they blocked the card and luckily, no money was taken. The caller was really persistent and just kept pushing him on the phone for ages.

Received a call from 02039254710, was on the line for about 20 minutes with a woman named Shanice who kept saying I had some kind of insurance policy for my electrical items. She then tried to get me to confirm the expiry date on my debit card and even asked for the 3-digit security code. What’s weird is she didn’t give me any info about my bank or the policy she claimed I had. Totally fishy, obviously a SCAM. Don’t fall for their friendly chat, it’s all just a trick.

Just like others have said, this woman called asking if I wanted to renew some policy for electrical stuff in the house. Got a call from some woman claiming there’s a policy for our household appliances set up by my wife back in 2015. She said last payment was made in 2018 using a Visa card beginning with 4 - which is true for most, isn’t it? She already knew our name, address and postcode. Then she started offering a discounted deal, from £129 down to £90 for two years, obviously fishing for my credit card info. Don’t fall for it, it’s a total con. Watch out for EXTREME HOME PROTECTION, number 02039180643.

I got a call from Extreme Appliance Warranties claiming I’d been insured for a year after I supposedly paid £129 on my Visa, and that it was due for renewal. I asked for our policy number, expecting it to be a load of rubbish. She gave me a 7-digit number, but when I asked her to repeat it several times, the number kept changing every time! Then, when I asked if she could email me the policy details, she just disappeared like magic. Proper con job.

This morning, I got a call at about 9.15am from someone claiming to be from Extreme Home Insurance. They said I owed £90 for an electrical cover policy that I’ve never even had! They gave me a policy number, but it was obviously made up. Pretty sure it’s a scam, though I’ll be checking my bank just in case they’ve tried to take any money. The phone number they rang from was 02039254710, and they introduced themselves as James and Kayden - which sounds fishy to me!

Got a call from this number saying my washing machine warranty needed renewing. Thing is, I’ve never actually had a warranty on it. I told her straight up I don’t deal with scams and hung up on her.

Yesterday my mum, who’s quite elderly, got tricked out of £90 by this company in a phone call. It’s supposed to be a proper registered telecoms firm, but is there any way to put a stop to them? I’m clueless about who to report this to. Also, how on earth did they get her contact details? She’s got home insurance for her appliances with D&K and SSE despite me warning her not to - could there be some connection? Is someone at D&K or SSE sharing personal info about older clients? It’s so frustrating!

Got a call from a bloke saying my home insurance was up for renewal. He claimed my premium was dropping from £129 down to £90 because I hadn’t made any claims. Then he started grilling me for my card details, so I just hung up. Bit relieved, especially since I’m 82 years old!

I got a call from 02039254710 trying to sell me a discounted insurance renewal, said it was £90 instead of the £129 I'd supposedly paid before. Thing is, I've never insured all my electricals like that, at least not in the last few years. They kept pushing but I told them a few times to get back to me next week so I could look into it. After repeating it like 3 times, I just ended the call. Feels like a total scam to me.

So, this lot also ring from 020 3918 0643. Just so you know, they go by XTREME HOME PROTECTION - and there’s no ‘E’ at the end. People have already pointed out how they operate. Looks like the business was set up on 28th October 2019, which means you definitely don’t have any policy with them from before!

I just got a call from them, and the woman on the line already had my name and where I live! She kept talking about some sort of "policy" I supposedly had with them. Just got a call from some so-called "Extreme Home Protection" folks claiming I signed up for insurance ages ago, like 4 years back, and that my last payment was 2 years ago and now it's due again. I told them straight up it was a load of rubbish, but they wouldn’t take no for an answer. I’m sure it’s a scam because I haven’t even bought a washing machine in ages, definitely no insurance set up here, I’m just renting privately anyway. Bet loads of people fall for this nonsense, it sounds pretty convincing if you’re not paying attention.

This bloke was really pushy, if you can even call him a gentleman. Like most callers these days, but what really got me was that he had my full name, address and postcode! How on earth do they get hold of all that info? It’s quite worrying. Surely there must be some way to put a stop to this?

I got a call from 02039254708 saying my insurance with them was about to expire. I thought it was legit because the price was £90 for two years, which seemed a good deal compared to D&G who I was actually with. Later on, I realised I hadn’t switched at all and was still covered by D&G. I rang those people back, and they insisted I was already insured with them. I asked for a refund, and thankfully I got my £90 back. I’ve also changed my card now to be safe.

Last night, my elderly mum got a call from 02039254710. The woman claimed to be from Extreme Home Protection and started talking about a policy that had supposedly lapsed. I had a call from a woman with a strong foreign accent, saying my 'Extreme Home Protection' was about to run out. I've never even signed up for anything like that. When I told her I didn’t have that cover, she just kept going, so I ended up hanging up. Pretty much the same as what others have said here.

Pretty much the same as what others mentioned. Got a call about renewing an insurance policy from five years ago, but she couldn’t give any specifics. Weirdly, she claimed I had a warranty on a fridge freezer, yet I’ve never owned one! They tried to get me to pay a ‘special’ discounted fee of £90 as if I was some important client. The number that showed up on my caller ID was 01514 386530, but ‘Kelly’ told me to ring back on 0203 9254710. I looked up ‘Extreme Home Protection’ and there’s no sign they actually exist.

Just got a call from some Extreme Home Protection lot. They knew bits about me and my family, like saying we last insured the fridge and washing machine back in 2018, which I did agree to ages ago. Then she offered me a £90 discount as my last card starting with 4 had apparently expired. I told her to send me more info and ring me back. After a quick google, I see all this is just a scam. It’s really sad that folks actually hand over their bank details to these tricksters 😢

I got a call from "Ultimate home security" saying my appliance cover was about to expire and they offered me a discounted rate of £90. They asked for my card info, but luckily my card had already expired. I told them this and realised something was fishy as I knew exactly when my new card was due. This is just a trick to steal £90 or more from you. Also, it’s easy for them to guess the first few digits since many cards from one bank share those numbers. Best thing to do? Just put the phone down immediately.

Got a call from a woman saying my appliance insurance was up for renewal and she needed to confirm my info before posting the new paperwork. Since I don’t even have that sort of insurance, I quickly realised it was dodgy and ended the chat straight away.

Even if they’ve got your right address, including the post code, don’t ever hand over your debit or credit card info. They might try to tempt you with a lower payment, like dropping it from £131 to £90, but from what I’ve read in the comments, it’s definitely a scam. Stay safe and don’t fall for it.

Got a call from 02039254710 saying my insurance for household gadgets was due for renewal. They kept pushing to get my debit card info, which felt really dodgy. When I asked which appliances were covered, they couldn't give me an answer. Looks like a total scam to me. Best to just ignore the call!

I just got tricked by these people claiming I could have a year of free insurance. I've never dealt with this company before. Don't give them your bank info! They said my card’s new and they needed to update their system for renewal. Total scammers, watch out!

Just a heads up, 0203 925 4710 looks like a scam number. I checked it against 0203 925 2736 and it’s definitely dodgy. Better be careful! Don’t get caught out. That’s all from me.

Just a heads up, 02039254710 is a dodgy number from London. Don’t ever share your debit card details with whoever’s calling from this line - it’s definitely a scam. Stay safe!

Got a call about renewing an insurance for electrical stuff from a firm called Extreme Home Protection. Never heard of them before, plus I’ve never had any policy like that. They claimed I paid £120 back on 15 Jan 2018 for a Hoover washing machine, which I’ve never owned in my life. Seems like a straight up scam to me - best just cut the call.

Got a ring from this company recently. They claimed I’ve been with them since 2015 and my debit card on file had expired, so they needed my updated info. The person on the line was pretty pushy, kept insisting I should remember them and told me my new policy would arrive this week. Then they threw in a “special” deal for £90.00. I had to hang up because they just wouldn’t accept me saying no. Felt quite dodgy, honestly.

My elderly mum got caught up in a scam from Extreme Home Protection. They somehow had loads of her personal info and called when she was really busy with some builders around the house. They asked for £90 and she ended up giving her card details without thinking. We're now sorting it out with the bank to report it as fraud. Proper dodgy stuff.

I just got a call from Roxsanne Muller trying to get me to pay £90 for some insurance renewal she claimed I had a couple years back. I honestly had no clue about any policy like that. She kept pushing for my card info but I said I'd only provide it once I saw the renewal paperwork. After a long 20 minute chat, she told me to check their website. When I did, I stumbled across these cautionary reviews. So yeah, I’m definitely not calling them back.

Definitely a scam, the story they told was just like what others have said. I'm going to make sure the police get told about this.

Today around 1pm I got a phone call from a lady saying I could lower my home insurance payments which are meant to be paid this month. I told her I don’t have Extreme Home Insurance, but she kept insisting that I do. So, I just hung up.

Got a call from a woman with a South African accent, calling herself Kelly. She kept telling me I had an insurance plan with Extreme Home Protection, which is rubbish because I've never had one. Oddly, she knew the first few numbers on my debit card. She was pretty pushy, saying I could look back at my bank statements from last year and see a £120 payment for the same insurance - but that's totally false. I searched online to see if it was a scam and turns out it definitely is.

Just got a call from them saying they had a discount on appliance cover, something like £90 savings. I reckoned it was dodgy, so played along until they asked for the three digits on the back of my debit card. That’s when I knew it was a scam for sure - I never trust anyone who asks for card details over the phone.

Just got a call from someone talking about a £90 discount on appliance coverage. I had a feeling it was dodgy, so I played along a bit. But as soon as they asked for the 3-digit security code on my debit card, I knew it was a scam. Whenever anyone asks for card details over the phone, my alarm bells always start ringing.

I got a call from this place earlier, and the lady sounded pretty convincing. But there’s no way I’d hand over the three-digit code on the back of my card. I ended up hanging up after I googled the company first.

Got a call from some company called Extreme Home Protection, and a woman with an Asian accent was telling me my appliances contract from 2015 was up for automatic renewal - something I never signed up for. She said I wouldn’t be able to access my account anymore and kept mentioning some letters they supposedly sent me in the post with special offers, which I never got. When I told her I had already updated my bank info, she just kept pushing hard for my bank details. It got so bad I had to just hang up the call!

Somebody from Xtreme Home Protection called me, saying I took out a policy back in 2015 and renewed it last year - which is totally not true! Even after I read out the reviews from this site, the caller kept pushing. I told them I was going to report them to the Telephone Preference Service as well.

This morning I got a call from Xstream Protection, telling us our appliances needed an insurance renewal. My missus asked what exactly they meant by appliances and to specify which ones. The woman on the phone hesitated and then just named off a bunch of typical household items without much sense. When I looked at our bank statements, there were no charges from them at all. Just a heads up, these people are after £90 and might even try to sneak money from your bank, so watch out for them.

Got a call this morning from someone called Limet claiming I’ve had a white goods insurance with them since 2015. They wouldn’t say which appliances are included and said my policy was renewed in Jan 2018. They wanted me to update my card details to keep it going; said it was £120 for a year but now just £90 until Dec 2020, then a free year after that. I refused to give my card info without any paperwork to prove the policy exists. This isn’t the first time - the same person rang a few weeks back and kept pushing for my card, which really annoyed me. I’ve blocked the number now.

On 18th December 2019, my wife got a call from Extreme Home Protection. They kept pestering her for quite a while and eventually got hold of her debit card info, then withdrew £90 from her account. She’s already contacted the bank about it. If you ever get a call from 02039254710, best to just ignore it.

My nan got a call from some place called ‘Xtreme Home Protection’ and they kept ringing and bothering her for ages, about half an hour or so. She ended up giving them her bank info and they charged £90 for some sort of protection service. It’s awful how these companies prey on older people like that. I’m definitely going to notify the bank and report it to Trading Standards.

So, this company called Xtreme Home Protection got in touch with my dad who's got Alzheimer's and somehow convinced him to hand over his bank card info. They ended up taking £90 from his account. When I rang them to ask about it, they said he's had an insurance policy with them for five years, which is rubbish. This has all the hallmarks of a scam, completely dodgy. I'm definitely going to report it to the police, the bank, and any other relevant authorities.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to represent Extreme Electrical Insurance, asserting that they provide coverage for electrical appliances in one’s home. Frankly, I’ve never come across this company before. The caller insisted that I had been insured by them for the past six years, which is complete nonsense as I don't possess any electrical insurance whatsoever.

Me Nan just got a call from these lot, I grabbed the phone from her and told the caller that we’ve already reported them to the police and trading standards cos it’s clearly a scam. She kept saying they weren’t up to anything dodgy, just discussing the terms and conditions of her current plan. When I asked what the call was about, she said something about extreme home insurance. The woman’s English was really bad too.
