4 yearsThis was a bit of a nuisance, really. A persistent cold caller rang me up, rambling on about financial services and attempting to pitch life insurance. I absolutely detest receiving calls like this out of the blue!4 yearsThey called asking about our internet, somehow already knowing our address and my son’s name.7 yearsThis number has rung my work phone a few times. When I picked up, they just hung up straight away. I tried ringing back but got a message saying the number was no longer in service. Seems like a spam call to me! I've gone ahead and blocked it.7 yearsSince the 9th of June, I’ve had about 7 calls from them. Today is the 13th of September, and I’ve blocked the number right after the very first ring.7 yearsGot two calls from this number today. We usually avoid picking up unknown numbers since we're bombarded with spam calls and they never bother to leave a message.7 yearsReceived a call earlier today where the bloke at the other end inquired if I was *********. I responded by asking who it was, and he said it was the Accident Management Company, MATE? He proceeded to ask about some accident form he claimed he had for me. I requested a copy, and he seemed puzzled as to why I wanted it, saying “MATE” again. I confirmed my request, and he asked if I resided at **********. I probed further, wondering if that was indeed the address on the form, to which he replied, “Correct, MATE.” Then he wanted to know when it was dated, to which he replied with ***** MATE yet again. I couldn't help but notice how many times he called me his "MATE." I mentioned that if he really thought we were chums, he ought to know my address. Then, just like that, he hung up! He tried to call back, but the person at extension ****** couldn’t take any more messages. It’s clearly a scam as the address they provided belongs to a property I sold ages ago. - caller: My so-called MATE, how hilarious!Accident Management CompanyMATE7 yearsFor three days straight, they kept ringing despite me having them blocked.7 yearsThey claimed to represent my life insurance provider and had my address on hand, which is rather off-putting as it suggests my details have been sold off.7 yearsHonestly, no clue who called me, so I just blocked the number.7 yearsEven though I blocked the number, it keeps calling non stop.
