ABSOLUTE CON JOB ALERT! I received a call purporting to be from UK Utility Tariff concerning my Sky broadband. They claimed that Sky was overcharging their customers and that I could switch to a more affordable plan. Supposedly, they obtained my number from an online survey, which is a complete farce since I steer clear of such things. When I mentioned my lack of participation in surveys, the woman on the other end became rather sarcastic. She proceeded to pitch me two packages priced at £17.99 and £23.99. However, when I inquired about the internet speeds, she was utterly clueless. I pointed out that she couldn't provide details about the service she was peddling, and she became rather defensive! These blokes are nothing but fraudsters-utterly dodgy!
