Had another annoying call from what sounded like a busy foreign call centre pretending to be local with a UK number. I asked the bloke where he was and he said "London, Greater London," which was obvious rubbish. The company he mentioned was "Extreme Home Protection," but really, they just want your cash. It's so frustrating that no one seems able to crack down on this number spoofing nonsense!

Someone called looking for a person who doesn’t live here, so I just told them they’d got the wrong number.

Just got a phone call from 02039252736, an individual saying they were from Platinum Home Care. They offered to help me lower my insurance for the electrical stuff in my home. The woman on the phone, who said her name was Rene or something like that, I made it clear I wasn't keen on what she was pitching. I thought these kinds of calls were banned now, arent they?

Got a call from this number today, 7/2/1920, claiming to be from the council about some warranty on my electricity. Honestly, who do they think we're fooling? I decided to mess with the caller a bit and kept them on the line as long as possible. It was a laugh until they started swearing, revealing what they're really about. BEWARE FOLKS, DON'T GET TRICKED BY THIS!

This number rang my mum, who'd just told me she'd lost her husband. The bloke was quite polite and said sorry before ending the call, but honestly, it was still an unwanted ring.

I get a bit wary when people ring but don’t leave any message. My guess is they’re either trying to trick me or push a sales pitch. If they don’t say who they are or why they’re calling, I just never bother calling back. Would be good to find out who these callers really are.

I seem to have stumbled upon Xtreme Home Protection, but to be quite honest, I’ve never even heard of them before, let alone have any insurance policies with them. It’s all rather puzzling!

Got a call about renewing insurance for some electric items, but I never even signed up for that. They kept telling me I must have forgotten about it and asked for my info, but I kept telling them I don't have any policy. Then they just ended the call.

Had a call from 02039252736 earlier today. My husband answered but couldn't catch everything, just that they were after our sort code. They actually greeted him by his first name, which was a surprise, but they didn’t bother trying his last name since it’s a bit tricky to say. The caller claimed to be from Home Protection and said we were overpaying. They promised to reduce our costs this year because our insurance was about to be renewed. Felt a bit off to me!

Got a call from a lady about insurance for my household appliances. When I asked what firm she was with, she said Extreme. She kept telling me I was covered even though I told her I’m not. I’m pretty sure I’m not, since I cancelled any policies I had ages ago.

I got a call today from 02039 252736 claiming to be the firm I’ve got contracts with for my White Goods. They said they had a special offer for me since I’m a reliable customer. But as soon as they started asking for my bank card info, I hung up straight away. Afterwards, I rang my actual provider to let them know what happened.

Got a call from someone claiming to speak for my home electrical insurance. They asked for my current credit card info to 'update their system' before sending out a renewal notice. They even mentioned some discounts and savings just to sound friendly. I didn’t hand over any card details, but later, after hanging up, I started thinking - this definitely felt like a scam.

Got a call about my insurance needing renewal, they said they wanted to verify my details first. Not stupid enough to fall for that!

Just like loads of others here, I got a call from a woman saying she was with Xtreme Home Protection. She wanted my card info to take £90 for some white goods insurance she claimed I signed up for back in 2013 (I even double-checked the spelling with her, and mine's right). I played along for a while while Googling them to check if they're legit. Turns out, they don’t even exist. When I told her that, she got quite annoyed. I told her to bugger off and find another poor sod to bother, and she said that she would!

I picked up the call and there was definitely office noise in the background, but as soon as I said hello, they just ended the call without saying a word. What a bit cheeky way to behave!

My mum got a call from Extreme Home Protection, and they already had her name and postcode which was a bit creepy. They were pushing to get her bank details over the phone, but luckily she’s pretty cautious and didn’t say a word. She told them to call back when I’m with her next time. Fingers crossed they don’t bother us after that.

Got a call from some place called ‘Extreme Home Protection’ about domestic appliance cover. They had my name and postcode but didn’t know my full address. I knew straight away it was dodgy since I’ve never bought anything like that. The moment I said I wasn’t interested, they just hung up on me.

I got a call about some white goods insurance and told them I didn’t know anything about it. She kept saying we definitely had some cover in place, so I asked when it started on the washer. She claimed it was 5 years, so I told her we’ve had coverage way longer than that and called her out for sounding like a scam. Then I asked her to send the details through the post since they had our address. She agreed but then just hung up immediately. Definitely not a proper business call.

Got a call from this "Extreme Home Protection" lot claiming my insurance for all electrical gadgets was up for renewal. Never dealt with them before, and I don’t believe in insurance that covers every single home appliance! Asked them to post me the details. Call ended - felt totally dodgy to me. Best to steer clear, really.

Got a call from 02039252736 about renewing some kind of policy to cover all my electrical stuff. I told them I’ve had this cover for about 7 years and never filed a claim, but they kept pushing. Pretty sure it’s just another scam.

Got a phone call from a woman with an accent claiming she was from extreme home protection. She kept going on about insuring electrical stuff that I've supposedly had since 2013. The thing is, I've never taken out that kind of insurance. She kept insisting I did, which led to a bit of a row. Eventually, we just agreed to disagree, she said she'd update their records, and then she hung up!

Just got a call from a woman claiming to be with Extreme Home Protection, talking about renewing some kind of home appliance insurance. I’ve never signed up or paid for anything like that, so I reckon she was fishing for my bank info. She sounded super put together and totally knew her stuff though, felt pretty slick.

Got a call about some warranty stuff for home appliances. My missus answered but she has a bit of trouble hearing properly. They already had her name and address, which was a bit creepy. The person on the line kept going on and on with a really thick accent, so she only really caught the words credit card or debit card. She just ended the call. After that, I rang the number myself to find out what it was all about.
