Got a call saying my number was selected through O2 for a special offer, supposedly the best deal around. I told them I was sceptical since I'm with giffgaff and haven't topped up for over 5 years but still always have credit. They asked me how that’s possible, which was pretty funny. They weren’t pushy about money either, just said if I signed up for their £12 a month plan I’d get unlimited texts and mins plus 25GB data. I only pay £6 for unlimited texts and mins and 1GB data, but since I don’t actually top up it costs me nothing. Weirdly, it came across as quite legit.

Loads of numbers beginning with 0203925 have been calling me. I've got my phone set up to divert any unknown callers straight to voicemail. Most of these scam calls never bother to leave a message, so I just block them right away. Easy peasy!
