I received a call from this number earlier, and when I inquired who was on the line, they bizarrely requested to chat with my parents, who have both passed away. Then, they shifted gears and wanted to speak to anyone at home regarding broadband. To my surprise, they had my name and address on hand, but since the broadband account is solely in my name, I found it quite odd when they began probing about our internet usage. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, saying they wanted to see if I was on the best tariff since my bills had increased. They asked if I’d got an email about it. I told them I was waiting for an official call from BT first. Clearly a dodgy call. When I said I hadn’t had any email, they just said “oh dear” like it was some sort of slip up. Total scam, for sure.
