So this bloke phoned me up claiming he was an "account manager" and kept insisting it wasn't a sales pitch. He was going on about investing in whiskey and said I'd quickly make like a 20% gain because tariffs were being dropped. Even though he kept saying it wasn't a cold call about investments, it felt totally dodgy and like a scam to me.

My son was hounded all day by this number and others like it. Each time he picked up the phone, the call would cut off immediately. Yet, the incessant ringing just wouldn’t let up. In the end, I thought it best to sort him out with a fresh sim card.
