I keep getting calls from numbers I don't know, always unrequested. It's pretty annoying how often it happens.

Got a call from this number earlier today. The person was asking if I’d worked at all in the past four years, if I’d done any self-employed work, and who my current employer was. When I told them I’m retired, they immediately said I wasn’t eligible for any tax refund. I asked why they were ringing in the first place, but she just ended the call right after.

Received a call from someone looking for a "John". I told them no one with that name is here, but they didn’t really get it and just hung up suddenly.

This refund place sounds like a total scam. When I told them to take my number off their list, the lady just talked right over me. So, I just ended the call and blocked them straight away.
