I called back the number that showed up as a missed call, and some guy with an Asian accent picked up. He told me it was a kebab shop and insisted they hadn’t rung me at all. But the missed call was definitely there on my phone's log, so I’m not sure what's going on.

They just keep on ringing, these cold calls, and blocking one number doesn't help much since there’s always another popping up. I reckon most of these aren’t genuine numbers anyway. Can’t see a proper way to stop them!

Had a call from someone named "Ben" claiming to be from "In-Touch," offering deals on cheaper phone lines. Sounded like he was calling from somewhere in India, Pakistan or Bangladesh, and his English was really poor, making no sense at all. I left him waiting on hold for nearly two minutes. Total nuisance and just another spam cold call, in my opinion.
