I get calls from them loads, usually around lunchtime. Nobody ever says anything and then they just hang up. It's so irritating and honestly, a total pain. They really should be sorted out.

Mate, just take a moment to breathe and stay calm. That Ghmrc call sounds like a scam so best thing to do is block the number and don’t give them anything. If you’ve already shared info, get in touch with your bank straight away. I’ve also reported it on gov.uk for fraud. Don’t waste time chatting with those dodgy people behind it - hopefully the fraud team will sort it out soon. Stay safe! x
