3 yearsAbsolutely nothing authentic about it. I received a call from them and flatly refused to share my code. I promptly rang O2 to clarify, and they assured me it was indeed a scam. They must have somehow gleaned the email linked to my phone number as they attempted to reset my O2 account password online. They keep pestering me with calls, and in the end, I lost my cool and shouted at them to remove me from their dodgy contact list!3 yearsBeware of this dodgy number! They claim to represent O2, pretending to offer some unbelievable deal. Shortly after making contact, they send a text containing a verification code, styled as an O2 one-time passcode. Whatever you do, don't divulge it! Their aim is to reset your O2 password and infiltrate your account. I rang O2 right after I got the message, and they confirmed the whole thing is dodgy. These scammers might try calling you again and again, but best not to get involved. Interestingly, the text even warns you not to disclose the one-time passcode to anyone at O2!3 yearsO2 has officially declared this number to be part of a scam operation. It's best to end the call and add the number to your block list. Should you happen to have shared any verification code with them, they might now hold access to your account and could attempt to make purchases in your name. It’s crucial that you reach out to your mobile provider without delay.O23 yearsHad no clue who it was and couldn’t even say if I knew the number or not.3 yearsI received a call from a lady speaking with an Asian accent, and she seemed to be reading from some sort of script. Honestly, I couldn't make heads or tails of what she was rambling on about. After a moment, I simply said goodbye and hung up. However, she was quite persistent and rang me back twice, continuing her incessant chatter. I decided enough was enough and promptly blocked her number.3 yearsI received a rather dubious call from this number, claiming to be representatives from O2. They mentioned something about offering me a 40% reduction on my bills and insisted that they would be sending me two text messages - one of which would contain a verification code that I supposedly needed to provide them. Naturally, I declined to share such sensitive information, especially since I’ve been advised repeatedly never to disclose my verification code to anyone, even O2 personnel! The trouble is, I’m now unable to get hold of anyone at O2 to clarify if this is all above board or not. What’s concerning is how they managed to send me a message that appears to be linked to my O2 account!3 yearsLooks like it was one of those annoying spam calls.3 yearsGot a spam call and put them straight on the block.Submit Your Own Report (020 3923 0737)
