Got a call from someone claiming to be the ADVISORY COUNCIL or whatever it was. They said it was regarding my SUNLIFE INSURANCE policy. I quickly told them to buzz off. Definitely seemed fishy to me - probably a phishing scam 🙄

I chose not to pick up, but judging by this, it looks like a troublesome caller.

Got a call from 02039210190 claiming to be reviewing my life insurance. They wanted to talk about either increasing my payout or helping me save money, but I couldn’t catch the name of their company. What gave it away was the address they had for me, which was from more than 6 years ago! Feels like a complete scam - best steer clear of these guys!

Got a call from this number earlier, with someone saying they were from my life insurance provider. They mentioned something about checking rates because loads of folks got life insurance during the Covid period and ended up paying too much. The woman read out an address and asked if I was still living there, but it was somewhere I’ve never been. Then she asked for my real home address. The whole thing seemed a bit fishy, so I just ended the call.

Got a call out of the blue asking if I had life insurance. I said No, and they kept pushing it. Honestly, I don’t need that kinda thing. Seems like a typical LIFE INSURANCE SCAM to me. Please, don’t hand over your BANK info to strangers. If you’re able to walk around, you can sort out your PROPERTY stuff on your own. Better yet, just check with your own bank about life insurance offers.

I’ve been stuck in a rut with nothing but let downs and dashed hopes… looking for a break but no luck on the job front... feeling drained, starving, and worn out… stuck in this place without heat, barely any furniture… fed up with dead-end gigs that barely cover anything… and tired of getting hired then canned all within hours… If you’re skint, don’t fall for these rip-off calls… there’s no way I’m handing over my bank details on the phone to some scammer.

They keep ringing about life insurance, but it’s definitely a scam. Never ever share your bank info with them. Seriously, don’t give out your bank details no matter what. Keep your details safe!

Had a rather dubious phone call the other day. They inquired about my life insurance coverage - asked if I had it or not. I promptly responded with a 'Not interested' and that was that. Honestly, I suspect it’s a total scam about life insurance. Be wary and don’t hand over your bank information! If you really need to sort out your life insurance, why not get off your backside and head to a nearby office? Alternatively, just consult your own bank for proper advice. Better safe than sorry!

Life feels like a series of hollow assurances and dashed hopes for me at the moment. I'm holding onto a glimmer of optimism that brighter days lie ahead, but it seems there's a distinct lack of job prospects. The weight of discouragement hangs heavy as I grapple with hunger and feeling undernourished. Residing in this bare house with no heating adds to my woes. I'm utterly fed up with meaningless jobs that barely keep the lights on, and it's exhausting being in a cycle of getting hired only to be let go the very same day. And don't even get me started on those Indian scammers-there's absolutely no way I'm parting with my hard-earned cash for that!

Beware, everyone! It seems we’ve got some international con artists operating here. They’re not just targeting folks in the States but are also trying their luck over in the UK, all in the pursuit of cold, hard cash. I received a call where they asked, "Do you have your bank card handy? Could you please share the details?" To which I replied, "Why on earth would you require my card details?" It’s alarming how these fraudsters are randomly ringing people up! Stay vigilant, folks!

I got a call from this number once and it was some telemarketer pushing a product. I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up. Then, after a couple of days, the calls started coming back but nobody said a word before hanging up after just a few seconds. Pretty strange behaviour if you ask me.

i got this call the other day and ended up giving them the details they wanted - usually i'm quite good at spotting scam calls but i've been unwell for a few weeks so they really took me by surprise.

a woman claimed to be from Zurich, offering me a better life insurance deal. she asked me to confirm my date of birth, then rattled off a totally incorrect one. after that, she wanted to know if i had any papers with my policy number to hand. i said no, and she said she’d ring me back in an hour so i could dig them out - like i’d be in a hurry to do that! later, i phoned the real Zurich myself and they told me it definitely wasn’t them.

So many muppets out there thinking they can trick us. I always ask them for their company’s registration or VAT number before chatting any further, and annoyingly they just drop the call. One bloke was proper daft, told me to "google it". I was like, "mate, you’re meant to work for that company and you can’t even tell me the registration number?" I added, "do you not even know your own dad’s name?" Honestly, calling them out is the only way to shame them into behaving properly instead of messing about.

Has anyone else picked up when they call? We got a voicemail about a delivery but when we tried to call back, no one answered.
