When I pressed why they were calling, there was a bit of a pause before they claimed my router was sending alerts about malware on my PC. That’s when I ended the call, it seemed dodgy. It struck me straight away as a dodgy scheme since I don’t even hold an account with Barclays!Barclays3 yearsSomeone rang me up saying they were from Barclaycard and used my name. They told me there was a suspicious payment being stopped by Barclaycard and asked me to confirm it. I told them thanks for the heads up but I’d log into my account and get in touch with Barclaycard Security myself if needed, then I hung up. When I looked at my account, nothing dodgy was showing as pending.
