Received an unsolicited call from a housing association. Quite annoying, really.

Got a text from 02039186214 saying I missed a call on 25 April around 9:25 am. No voicemail was left, so I reckon it's a scam. Just a heads up to be careful with these numbers.

Following on from what others have mentioned, I too received a call from the same office. The person on the other end became quite irate when I labelled their operation as a sham. In the end, they ended the conversation abruptly.

Got a call from 02039186214 the other day and I wouldn’t pick up if I were you unless it’s someone you know. Feels like it’s just another scam number trying its luck.

Didn't get a voicemail or anything, saw what others said here so I just blocked the number. Also made sure to report it.

For the last week, I've been getting calls every morning between 8 and 10. It rings for a few seconds, then just cuts off like they hung up. Proper annoying!

I keep getting calls from this number, but I won't be picking up. I've read some feedback about it here, and it doesn’t sound good at all.

Got a call from a random number, felt like one of those annoying spam job offers. Honestly, it was just really pushy and didn’t make much sense. Probably some scammer trying their luck. Be careful if you get something similar!

Said she was calling from the housing repair department but when I questioned her, she quickly got quite rude and aggressive.

Some bloke called claiming he was with a company dealing with housing association flats. Then he reckons someone must be handing out my mobile without my knowledge. What a pretentious twat. Just don't bother with him.

Got a call from a London number but no one said a word when I picked up. Seems dodgy to me. Why even bother calling if they don’t wanna talk? I've just blocked the number now.

It seems there are unsavoury individuals attempting to snoop around for details regarding my property-who knows what their intentions are!

They say they assist tenants dealing with delayed housing repairs, but somehow I’m listed as a tenant. I haven’t rented in over four decades. I reckon they’re just calling random numbers, hoping to stumble on tenants since loads of people do wait on repairs. Once they hit someone needing help, I suppose they try to charge for their services. Not sure if they’re genuine or just con artists. Either way, they’re pretty annoying with their unwanted calls.

The phone just said hi and then was cut straight away. Sounds like it was from a call centre or something.

Called a housing repair firm, tried talking to them but they told me to save my breath and then just hung up right away.

It's quite a peculiar situation, really. I had a chat with the housing disrepair team, and they assured me they would reach out to see if I had grounds for a claim. Due to some personal matters, I found myself without a phone for the last three months. Recently, however, I received a call from the disrepair crew who claimed I had spoken to them last December. They even provided a mobile number for me to send images of the issues I was facing. Then they asked me for some form of ID. I had to inform them that all I possessed was an expired passport with my photo. After placing me on hold, they requested that I send my expired ID along with my birth certificate and National Insurance number. Unfortunately, I wasn’t home at the time, so I couldn’t fulfil their request immediately. It was only two days later that I got another call from someone at the disrepair office, this time with a British accent. When I mentioned my previous conversation, they warned me it might have been a scam call, and I felt immense relief that I hadn’t sent off my ID. Yet, I did provide my National Insurance number when they contacted me yesterday. In a moment of panic, I told them I'd made an error and supplied them with a fake number instead. The lady on the line insisted that I send my details through WhatsApp. I asked her how I could be certain she wasn’t trying to scam me. She introduced herself as Kelly, but when I checked her WhatsApp, her name turned out to be Diana. She pressured me to send my identification swiftly so they could process my supposed winning claim. Curious about her origins, I inquired about her first name since she had a distinctly Indian accent; she unexpectedly replied with "Katie," whereas she had initially called herself Kelly. Talk about a right muddle!

somebody rang back saying they were from a home repairs firm after i called. when i mentioned i dont stay in london, the bloke on line got really narky and started shouting all sorts of rude things before slamming the phone down. couldnt help but chuckle at how daft the whole thing was.

They called me a couple of times, but as soon as I picked up, they just dropped the call.

Was really rude to the receptionist, just hung up after throwing a proper hissy fit. Claimed he worked for some organisation he clearly didn’t, especially since he was ringing from a totally different country.
