Got a strange call from a number asking for someone who lived here as a lodger about 3 years ago for just over a year! The current people living here have said multiple times they never gave this number out. Yet somehow, this month alone we've had at least 3 calls looking for them. The number said they'd take the name off their list, but I've had to block 3 similar numbers linked to this old tenant just this past week! Best to just block these dodgy calls!

They said we had an insurance policy with them and even mentioned a payment card number beginning with a 4, which was pretty vague if you ask me. Then they asked for our address to send over the paperwork, but they couldn't do that without us giving it to them first! Seems like they didn’t actually have our details on file. Felt a bit fishy to me!

Ahh, that explains the calls from that 0203 number. Honestly, I should’ve known right away since every call I get from those numbers turns out to be either a scam or some annoying telemarketer. Now I just don’t bother answering them at all.

Got a call from some bloke talking rubbish in awful English about a 'policy that'd run out'. I told him my great grandad had loads of those, covering all sorts of things, but he sadly passed away right before the Second World War kicked off. Then I asked what they’d been up to for the last 80-odd years to only call now. The line went dead straight after. Honestly, good riddance to them!
