4 yearsI got a call supposedly from Virgin Media, and they already knew my name which was a bit odd. When they asked which mobile network I used, I said Virgin, and the person was like, “Yeah, I’m calling from Virgin Media.” I told them I already have two contracts with Virgin and wasn’t interested in another. Then, they started pressing me on how much I pay monthly but I refused to say since they should already have that info if they’re from Virgin. That’s when the tone totally changed - the caller got proper rude, telling me to “shut my f***ing mouth” and calling me names. They even asked if I charged by the hour! I wasn’t having any of it and gave as good as I got. The accent was definitely Asian, and this wasn’t the first time I’ve had calls like this from different numbers with similar accents, but none before were this abusive or nasty.
