This isnt a scam, I just rang RCN Direct, its a telemarketing firm pushing RCN books and online courses. They seem to be having loads of trouble cause most people think its a scam, I was skeptical too but decided to call RCN myself to report the 'abuse' of their number. Karen told me all about it and confirmed the number is legit.

Got loads of calls from RCN. When I finally answered, they started rambling on about some premium subscription for next month, even though I’ve already paid for the full year. Then they hung up saying there was too much background noise, which felt a bit odd? They said it was because the calls are recorded. The number does appear on their website though, which is weird - you'd think an organisation like RCN wouldn’t be making so many calls nonstop.

Phone rang but I didn’t pick up since the number was strange to me. Saw an old review from 07/09/2020 mentioning this number and it seems like a common scammer trick to try and get your personal info like your name, address or bank details. Checked both numbers on the RCN site and they weren’t there either. Ended up blocking the numbers.
