Received a call saying I hafta ring back or I’ll be arrested, and it’s apparently a criminal matter, not just civil. Sounds dodgy to me.

it's a scam from hmrc, just dont pick up!

Got a call saying it was HM Revenues with some sort of final warning about fraud. Spent about 15 minutes chatting with the real HM Revenues afterwards just to double check if anything was wrong. Honestly, best not to pick up when they ring.
