Somebody rang me claiming to be from my business electricity company, saying they'd sort out an extension for my contract. Then out of nowhere they tried to put me through to some broker guy. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me, probably a scam.

This number keeps ringing my pub’s phone every day for weeks on end, saying they're from British Gas. It’s so frustrating! If you mess about with them, they quickly get aggressive and start yelling. I’d say avoid it for sure - total scam!

Got a call from an Indian bloke, started with the typical "hi, how are you?" which is always a dead giveaway for a cold call. Claimed to be from EON Next, which was odd because I just had a phone call from them about ten minutes earlier, but that was definitely a scam number. He kept going on about my account being about to run out, but when I told him it was a scam and to remove me from his list, he just carried on chatting. I ended up hanging up on him.

So, this bloke said his name was Sam and he was ringing from Eon's renewal section. Just a heads up, watch out for these fraudsters and tricksters!

They dialled up and wanted to talk to "the manager", but I just ended the call straight away.
