Just had the same experience on 2/1/24. I was sorting out the UKTV Play app on my new telly and entered my debit card info, not realising it was VEGURO charging me, not UKTV Play. VEGURO then hit me with a £39.99 fee every 32 days after three days. Tried ringing them but obviously no answer - their email is just a scam too. Turns out they’re actually based in Cyprus, not the UK at all. Watch out, these lot are scammers!

So I scanned a QR code at Witherspoons to pay for my meal, but ended up on this site called Veguro instead. I thought I was signing into Witherspoons to place my order, but it actually took me to this other site. Now I’ve got a confirmation email saying they’ll charge me £39,99 (yes, with a comma!) after the free 3-day trial finishes. Proper annoyed about it! 😠
