Watch out, it’s a total scam!4 yearsI recently attempted to register on a seemingly genuine website when, to my utter surprise, another entity hijacked the process without my knowledge and gained access to my banking information, despite no transaction being authorised. I promptly shut down my device and, within a mere ten minutes, received a text from my bank requesting confirmation of my recent purchases, enquiring if I'd identified any dubious activity. The last transaction, which had occurred moments ago, was one I didn't recognise, so I quickly contacted my bank. They informed me that the company in question, Weestreems, was quite familiar to them, and thankfully, they had already managed to block the unauthorised payment. After that, I did a bit of digging into the company name and my computer's security software flagged the site as dangerous, advising me against any further interaction.
