I ended up spending £2,500 and only got sent four jobs to bid on. Even though I used my own expert estimator, we didn’t manage to land a single job. The companies wanted work done at crazy low prices, and they kept asking for quotes as if the work was guaranteed when it clearly wasn’t. Felt like I just threw my money away!

Causeway Tradex kept ringing me loads of times saying they were from Aggregate Industries or talking about Aggregate Industries. We got in touch with Aggregate Industries and they told us they’d been talking with Causeway Tradex about invoicing, but definitely didn’t want them phoning their clients directly. They’ve since cut all ties with Causeway Tradex straight away. Yet, we’re still getting calls from Causeway Tradex pretending to be or acting for Aggregate Industries.

Enhanced BDM is definitely dodgy. A few months back when I checked them out, I came across plenty of negative reviews and even a harsh blog post about them, but now I can't seem to find any of it anywhere.

Steer clear!! They just gather quotes from subbies then try flog it to main contractors for a commission. Save yourself the hassle and deal straight with the contractors.

Got a couple of calls from a bloke down there yesterday - seemed genuine, really friendly. Said he’s got some scaffolding work going on in the SE which could be right up my alley. Now just waiting on a ring from one of the estimators on their team to sort out a few details. All good so far!

Chatted with a couple of folks over there - they came across as really friendly and genuine. There were a few jobs near me that caught my eye, and I got to talk with some other Enhanced users too. Thinking I’ll probably sign up before the week is out.

They only ring up to check if you can quote for a job - a proper job, nothing 'annoying' about it. If you're not keen, just tell them and they'll be fine with it and move on to the next builder. At the end of the day, they're just trying to get the job done and find someone to price it.

They weren’t aggressive or anything, just asked some questions about the kind of projects we usually take on, then thanked me and ended the call.

Enhanced BDM is a business growth firm. They can get quite persistent with their sales tactics and will call repeatedly even after you’ve told them you’re not keen. I know a few businesses that have used their services. Some had decent success landing contracts, but from what I’ve noticed, it’s not an overnight thing.

It's a company that helps with business growth and mainly deals with main contractors. I've looked at some of their tenders and chatted with the quantity surveyors, everything seems genuine. I'm thinking about trying their service to save time and maybe break into a few new supply chains.

Enhanced BDM is a Business Development firm (as the name suggests) giving you the chance to quote jobs for Main Contractors within the Construction sector. All contracts are genuine - either at bid stage or currently live on site - you get to chat directly with the Estimators (so definitely not some sort of money-making scam). We’ve had a solid turnout from folks down there - I’d recommend it to most, as long as you’re ready to price jobs fairly and professionally, and not expect handouts (seriously, they won’t pick you if your quote is 60% pricier than everyone else’s!).

So, this is a Business Development outfit, which makes sense given the name (Enhanced BDM...) The crew gives us subcontractors the chance to quote on both the bidding phase and confirmed jobs, working alongside the Estimators. It’s all above board, especially since you can chat directly with the Estimators who actually ask for support from this team linked to the BDM people - calling it some sort of 'money scam' is just way off. Thanks to their help, we’ve landed a good number of jobs from the quotes we submitted. Honestly, if you’re serious about pricing projects properly and competitively, you’ll do well. But if you’re looking for them to just hand over work and price it ridiculously low, then you’re not going to win anything at all!

I run an electrical business for commercial projects and have been contacted several times by this number before they went online and showed us live job opportunities to bid on from different contractors. We were interested in a couple of them. They deal with loads of big regional and national contractors and seem genuine; we actually hired them to help with business development remotely. We put in quotes for those two jobs quickly, though didnt get them, but have managed to secure 3 other contracts since then.

Got a call like this just now.. said i’ve got a 20k project lined up or something. Kept going on and tried to get me to do a team viewer screen share, so i just ended the call. Thing is, the job might be real since i do know the building where it’s supposed to happen. Bit odd how they had all the details like start date and exactly what needs doing. I’m trying to get in touch with the local branch and the main contractor to check it all out.

Got a call from some Enhanced BDM lot, claiming to have big budget deals for construction firms. They mentioned a contract close to where I live and said it was almost guaranteed I'd land the job. Since I’ve worked with the company they named, I gave them a ring - they hadn’t got a clue about Enhanced BDM. Honestly, I’d avoid these guys at all costs.

Like what others have said, this bloke told me there’s a £50,000 contract available with Premier Inn. Normally, no one I’ve spoken to throws out numbers before even giving an estimate. Just be careful out there.

Had a call from a bloke today offering a contract in Reading, Berks paying around 50-75,000. I asked him to send me the details by email but he said he’d prefer to explain it over the computer. I then asked if I’d need to pay his company for the info, he said no. Next, I asked if I had to sign anything with his company to get the contract details - he hesitated and then said yes. Told him that wasn’t what I was after. He then said he’d give the info to the guy down the road instead. I told him to go ahead. He spoke with a heavy Scottish accent.

I got a call from a company called Enhanced BDM recently. They rang me out of the blue, pitching big budget contracts for construction firms, trying to get you hooked into buying one of their "packages." From what I found, they started up in January 2017, founded by two directors who also run a very similar business. My company got calls a few years ago from another outfit called BR Network, and honestly, the sales spiel was almost exactly the same - they kept asking, "Can you handle taking on new contracts?" It really feels like these firms are more interested in taking your money than actually helping you land deals. I'd say watch out for them.
