I got a call from someone pretending to be with BT, but it was pretty clear they weren't legit. The number that showed up wasn’t in the directory and I’ve been getting a bunch of similar dodgy calls lately. They even mentioned being based at BT's Old Newgate Street office - a place BT doesn't even operate from anymore. Looks like these scammers keep switching their numbers all the time. The voice on the other end sounded totally off, like nowhere near here. I just played along for a bit to waste their time before ending the call.
