Yesterday, I was at me mum’s place, trying to fix her EE network that kept dropping out. Even though I wasn’t actually ringing anyone and the number was hidden, these lot called me today. I didn’t pick up though. Later on, I checked this site and saw only one comment about EE - that clicked for me. I reckon these scammers are gathering numbers and info somehow. Tried ringing them back tonight but the call just got cut off straight away. Feels like this should be illegal, right? No such thing as a coincidence - looks like another mobile company’s helping scams on the side.

Someone with a strange accent called me claiming to be from EE, offering to cut my bill by 30-40%. I didn’t know the number and I’m not even an EE customer. I just hung up, felt like a scam call to me.
