I’ve got an app that blocks spam and scam calls, and this number showed up as a scam right away. I didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave a voicemail either. When I checked online, it said it was an O2 scam coming from London. Seems like they often switch up the last four digits of the number too.

Got a call from someone saying she was Jennifer at O2, warning me my card’s about to expire in a week. Bit weird coz I don’t even have O2. I ended the call but she quickly called back straight away. My husband also got a couple of calls from the same person. Definitely a scam.

FRAUD CALLER Someone rang me pretending to be from O2. When I said I wasn’t an O2 customer, he insisted he wasn’t trying to sell me anything, so I asked what he actually wanted. He went on about my SIM being no longer compatible and said he’d send a replacement, but I told him I don’t use O2 so that made no sense and I ended the call. I used to be with O2 and they made it clear they don’t contact customers by phone like that.

I’ve been getting calls from this number almost every other day. Today I finally answered, and a woman named Lisa said she was from O2 mobile. She asked for my password to carry out some “maintenance” and said they’d give me six months of free data as a bonus. Total scam 😩. Just wanted to warn others in case they try a different angle and ring you - don’t trust anything they say!

Got a call from someone pretending to be O2, saying I needed to upgrade my SIM because my current one supposedly didn’t work with my phone anymore. He then asked me to “verify” my bank info and other personal details to get past security checks. The funny thing is, I’ve never even had an O2 account! Since then, they've called me about 28 times in just a couple of hours. Proper annoying!

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, telling me my SIM would be cut off in two days. They said I had to get a new SIM to use 5G everywhere. Definite scam, don’t fall for it!
