I got a call from some guy with a weird accent claiming he was from the government offering a free boiler. He mentioned an address, something like Belmont House in Bolton. The signal was rubbish and he said he'd ring me back the next day. I told him to forget it and hung up straight away.

I got a call from a woman who said her name was Sam and claimed to be from the government health department. She tried to get me to register for some free boiler scheme, saying my boiler was dangerous and could make me catch covid 19. Honestly, it’s awful how these scammers frighten people about their own homes like that. Totally disgusting stuff.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with the “government health sector” doing a survey about the coronavirus. Then out of nowhere, they told me they wanted to give me a free boiler. Sounded really dodgy to me, feels like a total scam.

I was told it was about my boiler, but when I answered, the man said he was in bed. I switched to a granny voice and said I'd had a fall. He said he’d keep me in his prayers and just hung up.

Got a call at work from some bloke with an Indian accent claiming he wanted to do a quick survey about broadband. He started off saying something like "won't take long, mate," which immediately sounded dodgy to me. I told him since he was calling me "mate" I figured it was probably a scam, and he didn’t take that well at all, getting pretty annoyed. I just ended the call and put the number on block straight away.
