Got an answerphone message that sounded automated, with an American accent. It kicked off before the beep, saying something about “your local county court offices, please ring this number.” Totally dodgy, bit of an obvious scam if you ask me.

I missed the call and they left a voicemail, telling me to ring them back about some court case that's supposedly coming up. Feels like a total scam to me, no question about it.

I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers. If the person calling really needs to get in touch, they’d leave a voicemail, but I’ve never got one from this number. So I’m clueless who it might be.

So, this bloke first rang me up saying he was from HMRC, then when I called him back, he got all aggressive pretending to be some legal firm threatening to take me to the local crown court. When I tried ringing back, the line picked up as HM Revenue & Customs, but I wasn’t having any of it. I told them straight up, “You’re not HMRC, you’re just scammers.” Right after that, the call dropped to some automated voice saying “Sorry, we can’t process your request.” Proper dodgy stuff!

Got a call and it was a total scam.

Got a voicemail saying it was from HMRC about some lawsuit thing that’s supposed to be happening. Sounded fishy to me.

I got a call from a supposed UK number but the person sounded American and said they were filing a lawsuit against me through the county court. They told me to call back or else they’d go ahead with it. Sounds like a scam to me, so watch out!

Just got a recorded message from this number saying they’re from HMRC about some supposed fraud case. They want me to ring back, but I’d steer well clear of it. Definitely sounds dodgy.

I've had some dodgy calls recently, one of which was from a so-called HMRC representative. They were threatening to take legal action unless I had a chat with them first. They even provided a number for me to ring back. Quite the cheeky scam, if you ask me!

Keeps leaving automated messages claiming to be from a court, urging me to return their call. I've blocked the number, yet they persist in leaving voicemails. Quite baffling!

I just received the exact same voicemail!

I've encountered a similar problem; is this number just another spamming scam, then?

They claimed to be from HMRC, warning me about a potential court case at the county court. I’ve blocked the number, but they rang again and left a message. Surprisingly, they also contacted my work phone, which is on a direct dial system.

I've experienced something similar. I tried ringing the number back, but there was no response. Honestly, it's hard to believe HMRC would employ American-sounding pre-recorded messages. Pretty suspect, if you ask me! If you’re feeling uneasy about it, it’s best to contact HMRC directly using their official website for peace of mind.

Received a dodgy call supposedly from a court. Total nonsense, if you ask me. Just go ahead and block these clowns!

I received a rather dodgy automated call claiming I was in debt and had to settle it by contacting a surprisingly brief phone number. I've decided to block the number.

Just like many others, I received calls from this number all morning, ringing every hour. They were putting on a charade, claiming to be from the HMRC, suggesting I was facing court proceedings. I've since blocked the number. I highly doubt that the genuine HMRC would resort to automated calls to notify individuals of fraud charges.

I just received a call purporting to be from the 'local county court'. Curiously enough, I’m based in London, yet the robo-caller’s accent was distinctly American, and the voicemail system sounded like it came straight out of the States as well. Are we sure I haven’t relocated without realising? Has HMRC decided to shuffle their operations across the pond? Am I somehow caught up in a bizarre episode of Wandavision?

Just like many others, I received a rather dubious phone call this morning. It was one of those automated voices, thickly laced with an American accent, claiming to be from the courthouse. They asked me to return the call, but there's no chance of that happening. It's clearly a scam!

Received a voicemail from this number claiming there's "a legal action taken against you" and urging a call back to sort it out. Total scam, obviously-a robotic voice left the message.

This morning, my phone was bombarded with calls-15 times in total! I've had enough and blocked the number, yet they persist in leaving voicemails, sounding distinctly American. What a nuisance! 😒

I've been receiving relentless calls from 02039018347, with the caller claiming to be from HMRC. They're making all sorts of alarming threats - it’s quite unnerving, to be honest.

I've had a right bother today with calls from someone purporting to be from HMRC, claiming they were initiating court proceedings against me. The first of these calls arrived this morning, and while I've managed to block the number, their voicemails keep coming through. It’s rather unsettling, to say the least!
